Our philosophy here at the Smack’s Academy for Girls lets the girls here do things hands on. This helps the girls communicate easier and way more with the others and or teachers than they would at other schools. Here we don’t want the girls to get bored while in class because they think the teachers talk too much, instead we want the children to be able to teach the class on how much they know with some help from the teachers. We believe that this philosophy will decrease the children that may fall asleep in class and increase the amount of children looking forward to attending classes daily.
In every math class each week a child will be able to go up in guide the class through some of the work they need to review, in science class students will be able to do the experiments that they find interesting but they will also have to do the experiments that’s need to past the grade that they are in. In class like English the children will be able to choose from different novels to do reports on, but the teachers will also have the say if the books are appropriate or not. This way children will feel as if they have a say in what goes on in the school.
